Because you wear Wahrm products directly on your body, safety is our top priority. To ensure your safety, we've implemented several measures:

1. CE Certification : All our products are CE certified, which means they meet strict EU standards for safety, health and environmental protection.
2. Overheating protection : Our products are equipped with advanced sensors that continuously monitor the temperature. If the temperature exceeds a preset safe limit, these sensors automatically shut down the system to prevent overheating.
3. Safe low-voltage system (5V) : Wahrm heating systems operate at a safe low voltage of 5V. This minimizes the risk of excessive heat buildup and guarantees worry-free comfort.
   

With Wahrm you are assured of warm clothing that is safe and reliable.

Wahrm uses infrared heat technology, similar to what you find in heated pads or car seat heaters. This technology is invisibly integrated into the fabric of the body warmer, hoodie, or sweater.

To activate the heat, simply connect the included power bank via the USB connection, which is conveniently integrated into a hidden pocket.

Pressing the on/off button for four seconds activates the heating.

With a short press of the same button you can switch between three heat settings, so you can set the temperature to your preference.

To turn off the heating, press and hold the button again for four seconds, after which you can wear the garment as a stylish, comfortable basic.

The three heat settings offer the following temperature ranges:

• Position 1: 34 - 38 °C
• Position 2: 36 - 40 °C
• Position 3: 38 - 42 °C

All Wahrm products are equipped with overheating protection and carry the CE mark, ensuring maximum safety during use.

By regularly wearing a Wahrm at home you can turn down the heating

The exact savings in money and CO2 emissions for an average household by turning down the heating by an average of 2 degrees, for example, can vary depending on factors such as the type of heating system, the insulation of the house, energy prices and the climate.

According to various energy-saving recommendations, reducing the heating by 1 degree Celsius over an entire heating season can save an average of about 6% on your energy bill.

At 2 degrees, this would mean a savings of approximately 12%. The exact savings in euros depends on your current situation.

If we assume an average gas consumption for heating in a Dutch household (approximately 1500 m³ of gas per year) and the average gas price, this could amount to a saving of hundreds of euros per year.

Regarding CO2 savings: burning 1 m³ of natural gas produces approximately 1.89 kg of CO2. If you save about 12% on an average consumption of 1500 m³ of gas by lowering the temperature by 2 degrees, you save about 180 m³ of gas. This would result in a reduction of CO2 emissions of about 340 kg per year (180 m³ of gas * 1.89 kg of CO2 per m³ of gas).

These estimates are based on general figures and averages; actual savings may vary depending on specific circumstances and prices at the time of calculation.

You can wash your Wahrm at 30°C, making sure to remove the power bank beforehand. The Wahrm is not suitable for tumble drying or ironing. Follow the washing instructions on the wash-care label inside the product.
